It rhymes with SoulPeeves

Wow, The other day I got an email from The Soulthieves. It was an invitation to a reunion gig in December at the best concert hall in Colorado- McDonough's in Aurora. Finally, one of my favorite bands was getting back together to play! Sweet. For those of you who don't know, The SoulThieves was a popular Rocky Mountain Regional band that toured and was known for wild shows and wilder after partys. They won the Westword best Pop Rock /Band of the year and had a hit song called "Starting Tonight" on major commercial radio. Man, I can't wait to hear that song live again.
They were dead on with great harmonies using two lead singers. They used to do so many cool songs. Denver Joe, Ice Cream Man, Let's Get it On, Gone By Morning, Lover Lie Down, Free. Man I loved that one.
Can't wait to see them again. What great energy. And here I thought the "Last Official Denver" SoulThieves gig was gonna be at that other great Colorado venue "Bushwackers." I missed that one and the last one at some casino in Kansas. These guys really know how to go out on top.
Nice and classy.
